Ak-Dobo village

Ak-Dyobyo is a village in Jeti-Oguz District, Issyk-Kul Province, Kyrgyzstan. It is part of the Ak-Dyobyo commune, which consists of four villages located along a branch of the Jeti-Oguz River delta and along the eastern slope of Mount Orgochor. But its name, of course, comes from the fact that it is located next to Mount Orgochor, as Ak-Döbö means "white hill".

The population is about 1,500. The population lives mainly from farming and animal husbandry. To the north of the village, on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, there is a small lake Kyokuikel about 900 metres long. The lake and its shores are protected and are part of the Issyk-Kul biosphere.
