Kichi-Jargylchak, a picturesque seaside resort nestled along the South shore of Issyk Kul lake. Located between the villages of Chong-Jargylchak and Ak-Terek, in the Jeti Oguz district. The village, with its population of 3800 inhabitants, thrives on agriculture and breeding, and is renowned for its redcurrant production.

At the heart of Kichi-Jargylchak lies a magnificent alpine valley stretching 22 kilometers, perfect for hiking and horseback riding enthusiasts. Don't miss the picturesque pasture named "Kindik," and five mountain lakes. Among them, the grandeur of the "28 Panfilov" glacier stands tall, culminating at an impressive peak of 4562 meters. 

In the heart of Kichi-Jargylchak, you'll find the Victory Park, near the shores of Issyk Kul lake. Take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. Pay a visit to the old cemetery, where echoes of the past resonate, telling stories of the village's rich history.

Legend has it that the village got its name from a tale of an old man and his millstones. As he journeyed from one village to another, he left a large stone on the outskirts of what is now known as Chon-Jargylchak, the Big Barn. The old man settled in another village, giving birth to Kichi-Yargylchak, the Small Barn, where he ground flour for the locals.
